Week 6 of Soap Challenge ~ Faux Funnel

I was able to participate in the challenge this week with Amy from Great Cakes Soapworks. This week was Faux Funnel Pour.... An Absolute Favorite of mine and I do it all the time. But what could I do to make it a challenge? Use Lab Colors! So I chose Bramble Berry's Red Velvet Lab Colorant, Activated Charcoal and Violet Ultramarine. My Plan was to have a color scheme that when the Lab Color bled that it wouldn't ruin the soap. I used NG's White Tea and Ginger since it seems to behave well for me.

White Tea & Ginger

The photos above show sharp clean color lines...
Photo below shows bleeding and it's going to be alright. If you don't want sharp lines... you can use Lab Colors with other colorants... just choose your color scheme accordingly. The black won't show the bleed and the purple has red in it already so the bleed won't ruin it.

Here are a few of my other Faux Funnel's in a Slab .... I love this Technique!!
Raspberry Lemonade

Unscented Oatmilk, Shea Butter & Silk

Blackberry Sage

 Sweet Orange Chili Pepper

 Anise

Lemongrass

  2. You are definitely the queen of faux funnel!! The bleeding colorants were a good challenge - I like how you thought through the results! (Still prefer the crisp lines though...)
